dc.description.abstract1Being a large and diverse region, the Asia-Pacific faces several challenges in education systems. One of the key challenges is the predominance of test results and the pressure for students to achieve high grades and scores (UNESCO, 2018).Tests and exams are crucial determinants of learners’ academic achievement and success. This culture of testing has lead to crucial side-effects in the learning environment, such as negative effects on physical, emotional, and mental health. However, recent evidence indicates that prioritising happiness and well-being can result in higher academic achievement and lead to better quality of education (UNESCO, 2016; Helliwell et al., 2017; OECD, 2017).es_MX
