dc.description.abstractThe development of the document was aimed at encouraging students' attention in class through the implementation of self-regulation strategies, to regulate their cognitive behavior. It is a descriptive level study where it was identified what worked or not when applying the self-regulation strategies in most of the students, and in which the action research method was used. Where the variable of study was the different cognitive behavior that a student of first grade of secondary school should present. The results were obtained through teaching journals, tables and observations.es_MX
