dc.description.abstractThis research analyzes and reflects the use of self-assessment as an important part in the student’s evaluation. Students through the self-assessment can identify the expected achievements that have been achieved in each class and that teacher can take into account the judgement of the students about their performance in the class and the teacher can help students to achieve the expected achievement. This research has as its objective to identify the expected achievements of students in the process of self-assessment in English classes. During the research process, different self-assessment instruments were designed in which teachers and students can verify the expected achievements applied each week and identify the advantages and disadvantages of the application of self-assessment. Furthermore, mentioned some recommendations to be applied the self-assessment in the classroom.es_MX
